In collaboration with Capsule Projects, this landmark project involved the refurbishment of three floors of a former bank building into a modern, digital age, multi-media entertainment business for one of Australia’s leading commercial free-to-air television networks. Capsule Projects was appointed as lead consultant (with Anthony Giordano as project team leader) to establish their new home in Adelaide.
read moreThe significance of moving from their original home in Tynte Street, North Adelaide to such a prominent location in Hindmarsh Square cannot be understated. The brief for Capsule Projects was to help transition from traditional, dis-jointed, legacy workspaces to a modern work environment that is the embodiment of the company’s aspirations whilst acknowledging its significant position in the wider community. A significant amount of consultation and collaboration was invested into the creation of a vibrant, modern workplace for 100 employees that also includes a state of the art data centre, edit suites, master control and media gateway. The prominent ground floor studio space will be a major feature where the public is given the opportunity to gain a view of the inner workings of news broadcasting. A luxurious reception area flows into the second floor executive area and new inter-floor staircase, whilst the predominantly open plan work area is accentuated by collaboration zones, meeting rooms and breakout areas.
